CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR
High IQ Polymath Journalism Scholar
Short Description
Inspired by the Hungarian born iconic Joseph Pulitzer, this program quintessentially combines journalism and its expression through core set of functional aspects. For his newspapers, he wanted to attract the largest readership, and to do so, he reinvented journalism through innovations, depictions and interpretations setting the tone for sensational journalism along with things such as sports coverage, women section, comics, fashion, political corruption, etc. To date, his indoctrination of making newspapers vehicles of entertainment as well as of information hold valid. His vision was further translated into Prizes of Excellence and this had an impetus through people who carried it forward as a set of right and honest beliefs which represented his own persona. In this program, we go beyond writing to learn embodiment of different aspects of its management as a skilful, competitive attitude in newspaper publishing, mergers, take overs and acquisitions. This part, we rightfully named the MBA of Journalism as it teaches to wrap micro to macrocosm aspects of its management. The curriculum is bold and intuitive yet extremely fresh with a new twist: the internet journalism.
