“A polymath is a person whose expertise, proficiency and knowledge spreads over a substantial number of subjects with the ability to solve problems related to those subjects or otherwise, using his or her expertise to either combine the knowledge of subjects or use them independently of one another to resolve a problem.
With all of the world’s information available to anyone who has internet, polymaths should, in theory, should have been common today, but they are not. It has been due to these erroneous and senseless believes regarding specialization that generalization was thrown in the backburner position and of the few that were polymaths were looked down upon as people who do not know or understand what they wanted.
Human progress and intellect could have quadrupled if more people were polymaths, but the very fabric of creativity and human capabilities suffered from this misconception for too long till an idea as powerful as this university could be developed to produce high IQ polymaths. In the words of Leonardo Da Vinci
“Study the science of art. Study the art of science. Develop your senses — especially learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
Having said this, welcome to the world’s first
